Group Psychotherapy consists of treatment groups that provide an opportunity to practice the skills that are necessary for you to function in the environment in which you live in a safe environment. These groups are designed to offer you feedback from other patients that may view your behavior differently and allow you to reconsider your view of your behavior and make changes that will help you become more functional.
Family Groups are offered weekly to encourage your family to participate in your management of your addiction. We provide orientation to the medical components of an addiction and differentiate between the “old school” thoughts of an AA approach and the more clinically effective CBT approach to managing your behavioral condition.
