Welcome to our video series!

This series was designed to help our viewers better understand the advantages of a Medical Model Treatment Program. We begin this journey with five digital workshops. We’ll add additional workshops with input from our viewers. We know that you’re aware, there’s a lot to running a successful treatment program. We can’t stress enough how important it is to maintain a consistent philosophy for treatment; sending a consistent message to your clients.

We recommend watching this video series with your staff and holding discussions on these topics. Mindsets like how you and your team of professionals view addiction, or what type of therapies to use in your facility, must be similar so that patients receive a unified treatment program, regardless of which therapist, family coordinator, or other staff member they come in contact with.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, otherwise known as CBT, has become a generic, ubiquitous term referring to any type of clinical intervention strategy that uses logic in the treatment program. At ATS, we have created our own approach to CBT. During treatment, we teach conceptual and contextual learning strategies that support the ATS model.
